The Government of Pakistan grants different Work visas to eligible applicants. Companies employing expatriates are required to submit their work visa application on the E-Visa portal i.e.https://visa.nadra.gov.pk/work-general-visa/

You can apply for two types of visas online :

Entry: You can apply for a new visa if you do not possess a valid Pakistan visa.

Extension: You can apply for a visa extension if you posses a valid Pakistan visa and you are residing in Pakistan.

Eligibility

• Citizens of foreign countries who have a valid job offer and meet the requirements are eligible to apply for this visa.

Required Documents:-

In case of employment by company:

• Passport
• Photograph
• Employment letter from SECP registered company showing salary and duration of assignment/ appointment or sponsorship / guarantee letter from company

In case of single person-owned business:

• Passport
• Photograph
• Employment letter/ agreement showing salary and duration of assignment/ appointment or sponsorship / guarantee letter from employer
• Tax certification of employer
• CNIC/ Passport of employer
• It is a mandatory requirement to upload proof of legal residence, in case you are not present in your home country and are applying for visa from a third country, it’s a mandatory requirement! The document can be uploaded in the supporting document type: Other
• For Extension please upload proof of Valid Pakistani Visa for which an extension is being requested and Entry Stamp on your Passport in the supporting document type: Other

Duration and Validity

• Entry/Extension: 2 Years (Multiple Entries)

Issuance of Visa is the prerogative of the Government of Pakistan.

• 4 weeks (For Entry/ Extension)

Please Note: If the application is Sent Back for Review to the Applicant, the set processing time will be applicable again (The processing time will re-start from the date of re-submission of application).

The Application will stand cancelled if applicant doesn’t resubmit his/her application in Seven (7) days from the date of application sent for review.

• Company's covering letter stating the period of visa required and other necessary details.
• Passport's consisting of three pages i.e, information, entry and last visa page.
• Sponsor details (Company Focal Person Name, Designation, Email, Address, Cell number)
• CV of the employee
• Previous work/family visa page
• Entry page of Passport.
• Company's Registration Certificate.
• Employment agreements.
• Confirmation/ guarantee of the credentials of the expatriates by the company on their letterhead.
• Company profile.
• SECP registration certificate.
• FBR NTN Certificate
